What to Do?
I don’t get it.
Yes I’ve been away awhile but why would I have to change my host to
Google? I do miss Blogger, I really
liked it, it was easy for me. So I am trying to do this by hand, so to
speak. At least for today.

Simon
It was pure kissmet. We decided on a Goldendoodle and I submitted the application the
weekend we left for Vermont. We spent Saturday evening dinner at an old
country inn restaurant and closed the place. The owners had two Golden
Retrievers, a mother and daughter. It was love at first sight. I could not
stop thinking about them, well into the next day. And there we were driving
home through Hoosick Falls, NY and we see the sign "Golden Retriever
Puppies".
The "breeder" said all the wrong things but there he was. He was
different than the other two. I knew it was over when I lifted him out of
the pen. So we gave her a check and were on our way. A quick stop at a
local Walmart for a collar and leash and water
bowl.
He rode the whole way home, probably a little disoriented and confused, in
my lap. Quietly. It's been a week now and he is a bundle of energy. And all
my plans for San Diego, Florida, NYC and Costa Rica could be down the
tubes.
Simon we love you.

Parenting or
Non-Parenting
Long Story:
Yesterday Alan and I are at the Rutger's Game and
as happened two weeks ago, the little boy (who the parents kept on the end
next to me), kept kicking me. Once when I looked up the child was actually
watching me, purposefully kicking, and the father was actually watching him
kick me, but when I looked at him, he said excuse me and pulled the child's
leg away.
But still a few minutes later the child was kicking me again. When I
finally complained, the Mother (using the word loosely) began yelling at
me....and I mean yelling, over and over and over again....and I tried to
ignore her, turned away, talked with Alan, but she went on and on.
Honestly, she was going off the deepest end because she turned the
conversation now to yelling at me at how much longer they were season
ticket holders than we were...so I said "Yes, you have been that
longer than us, and you're so much cooler than us, but please shut
up!!!"
To which she said..."Make Me".
Ok I don't know about you, but I haven't heard that expression since Grade
School. "Make me???" I answered incredulously, to which she
sneered and said, "Yes"....
"haha"...I said, "I doubt if I
could make you, considering you weigh 5 times more than me". (Did I
forget to mention she looked like the Pillsbury Dough Boy but not as cute)?
However I heard not a peep out of her for the remainder of the game.
But I am wondering, on the cusp of a new year, should I have been so bold? : 0

Busy busy busy
So again, work is killing me. Long hours, so much to do. Every day there is
another initiative. Sadly I don't seem to have the support I need. Or maybe
I'm just not as good at delegating as I think. Anyway, it's ok, it's what I
do. And in November....yay....a great vaca to look forward to.
And I can't seem to keep up with anything. It's not like the "old
days" when I seemed to have so much time. Much of my hobby interests
go by the wayside. I do need to budget my time better.
So what have you been doing? It's time to make the rounds. : 0

The sad truth of the matter is that this website looks shitty on a MAC. Yipes, I'm amazed at the difference.
